For security-sensitive users, CoolGear's wide range of encrypted enclosures meet the individual data security needs of data security requirements with NIST certified DES (Data Encryption Standard) and TDES (Triple DES) algorithms, which intercept, interpret, translate and relay IDE commands and data to and from the disk drives, encrypting data with DES/TDES 40/64/128/192-bit key strengths.
