High powered charger for demanding devices.
I wanted a USB-C charger powerful enough to keep my Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE charged while it was actually being used. In my truck, the tablet runs Google Maps, Apple Music, and stays at full brightness. Every charger I tried before would slowly lose battery until I eventually had to bring the tablet inside to recharge.
This charger solved that problem. Even with everything running, the tablet continues charging instead of slowly draining. That alone made it worth trying.
The advertised power output also seems legitimate. Plenty of chargers claim high wattage but don’t deliver it under load. Based on my experience, I believe this one does. I wouldn’t think twice about plugging my USB-C laptop into it.
The included cable is long enough to give you installation options, and the mounting flanges are a nice addition. I plan to hardwire mine to an accessory circuit and mount it in the dashboard for a cleaner, more permanent installation.
At around $70, it’s definitely a premium-priced car charger. If all you need is a phone charger, there are plenty of less expensive options. But if you need enough power to keep a tablet or laptop charging while it’s being actively used, this charger delivers exactly what it promises.

Solid USB-C ports for car but no ETL or UL listing
I bought this charger for my older Toyota 4Runner, which doesn’t have any built-in USB ports or a power inverter. It has been a convenient way to add modern USB-C charging without modifying the vehicle.
The dual USB-C ports provide plenty of power for newer devices. I’ve used it to charge my phone, tablet, and even my laptop, and it has handled everything without issue. The charger fits securely in the 12V outlet, and the overall build quality feels solid. I also like the mounting flanges, which would make it easy to permanently install in my 4Runner if I was so inclined.
My only real concern is that I couldn’t find any indication that it carries a UL or ETL safety certification. Since this is a high-power charger capable of up to 145W, I generally prefer products that have been tested by an independent safety laboratory.
Overall, my experience has been positive, and it has been a great upgrade for adding high-power USB-C charging to an older vehicle.

Works Great!
My car is older and the USB to USB-C cords/converters I’ve tried just don’t really charge my laptop or phone… It still drains battery if I use them.
This cord actually charges like it would if I were plugged in at home.
Great product!

nice high powered usb C charger, just what i was looking for.
not sure why this kind of thing is so hard to find, but it is just what i was looking for – I have a 12 volt (cigarette lighter style) port in the back of my SUV, and i needed to route around to the back seat and provide some high powered USB Type C ports for charging laptop computers on a trip. ….handles even my notoriously picky HP Zbook easily. I think I’ll buy another for each car and boat. I can show you the thing installed because the entire point was to have it hidden behind interior panels – my SUV has a “hidden” 12 v outlet behind a plastic panel in the cargo area, and i was able to snake this through and accomplish the misison. made it through a long car trip, no problems.
