Great product for old Hard Drives and such
No problems from the product. Worked well once I figured it out.

Everything worked the first time I tried it. PATA
I have no complaints about the adapter. I panicked when I saw that my old hard drive was not IDE or SATA but PATA and did not appear to fit the adapter. I did some googling and found that PATA is the same as IDE. The PATA drive does fit the IDE connector. There is a divider in the pin connector that automatically aligns every thing as its plugged in. There is a small space on either side but the pins are properly connected. I had an old PC with bulging caps in the power supply. I needed files from that hard drive. No one wanted to replace just those capacitors but the entire power supply. They wanted me to upgrade from Windows 7 to 10 before even considering removing the files from the hard drive. A friend told me I needed a hard drive adapter. I didn’t even know there is such a thing. If I had known, I could have solved this problem years ago.
