The CG-2PTCX1PCIe USB-C Adapter is a USB 3.1 PCIe (x1) Card that can be installed in your Desktop, Server, or Thin Client to connect to new peripheral technology.

The multiple USB3.1 Type-C connection architecture supports concurrent operation of hot-swappable, smaller, reversible new USB features while maintaining all speed compatibility with USB1.1, USB 2.0, USB 3.0, and USB 3.1.

The PCIe USB-C Adapter also supports all USB compliant data transfer type such as Control, Bulk, Interrupt, USB Attached SCSI Protocol and Isochronous Transfer. The USB3.1 function supports many popular devices, including digital video camcorders, hard disks, Pen Drives, CD-R, CD-RW, Camera and high-resolution color printers.

Differences between PCIe x1 and x2 cards

PCIe X1 card visually has both a narrow and wide contact area for the PCI slot	The PCIe X2 visually has two wide contact points for connection to the PCI slot.
